Join a Cooking Class.

We run our popular Market Day Cooking Class with lunch on Tuesdays. We visit the local market, buy seasonal produce and then we prepare a hands-on Tuscan meal where vegetables are the star — we enjoy this all together with natural wines over a long Italian lunch. This is a very relaxed, delicious class suitable for all ages and levels of expertise. Read all about it in the Sydney Morning Herald. The class has a maximum of 8 places to ensure an intimate experience and is roughly 6 hours long (or as long as a long Italian lunch takes!).

We meet at 10:15am near the market.

We can also offer private, custom cooking classes for 4-10 people, with hands-on cooking, eating and wine (here is an example).

Kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult are free.

Please check our FAQ page for details on getting here, or email us at vino@enotecamarilu.com if you have other questions.

Eli, Buenos Aires:

“The experience in Tuscany was amazing for me. Just what I needed at this time in my life: disconnect a little from everyday stress and madness and connect with the things that make me happy, share good times with people, cook, drink and have a good time. Thanks you for the work, the love, the predisposition, the smiles, and the passion you put into this great experience. I will never forget it!”

Thank you for an extraordinary day, it was just lovely. Your hospitality and passion for what you do shines in every detail. All of the guests were interesting and fun. Made for a memorable experience. We will visit again as soon as possible.

Anna & Andrea, Melbourne:

“Our little family group of 4 were lucky enough to join one of Enoteca Marilu’s market day cooking classes in the atmospheric Tuscan hill town of San Miniato. Hosted by the delightful foodie icon and cookbook author Emiko Davies and her lovely husband ( & wine expert extraordinaire) Marco Lami, the experience was an absolute treat and a highlight of our 5 weeks in Italy. Emiko & Marco were generous, patient and marvellous company as they steered us through the simple pleasures- appreciation of local produce, what to look for at the market, pasta making, preparing multiple courses and gathering around a table together to share it all. Enoteca Marilu itself is atmospheric and classy- the perfect backdrop for this unique experience. The group we were in were all of different ages and experience levels and everyone had a wonderful time.”

It was everything I expected and more. The food and wine was delicious, the company was lovely and you and Marco are such lovely hosts. Specifically it was also so wonderful to cook Italian food with Juno, and see her so eager to learn from you. Thank you so so much for letting her join us for this class. She has repeatedly stated this afternoon and evening that she loved it :)
